Project LARKRISE

This family bathroom was previously outdated and cold, with grey tiles covering the walls and floor, and the goal was to elevate it without major building works.

To achieve an impactful transformation, we used cork tiles from Naturewall to cover the lower half of the tiled walls which added a warm natural element with texture, we paired it with a vinyl Caselio wallpaper featuring a Deco-inspired design on the upper half. Oak trims were added to create a cohesive finish.

For the flooring, we installed linoleum from Forbo, designing a custom checkerboard pattern by cutting squares and framing the perimeter with a red border.

As this bathroom also serves as the social loo, we concealed the shower cubicle by adding a curtain and pelmet in the same Ian Mankin tickling stripe fabric as the blinds. To bring an additional charm, we added a vintage oak cupboard.
